About Me

Hi! I started this blog to share with you all of the information I know about adoption. No, I have not yet adopted someone, nor was I adopted, but I have been interested in adoption since I was a teenager and over the past 2 years have accumulated a lot of info on the subject.  I really hope to adopt some day, but I know I still have a lot of growing to do.

I’m also travelling the interesting journey of Finding Myself.  Since most of my friends are philosophers (including my roommate: The Philosopher) and scientists I find myself in a position to think quite a lot.

I love Science, books, kids, John Green, and The Mountain Goats. I like odd things and I’m proud of it. I feel really close to animals and am serious about my joy.

I hope everyone can have an open mind and heart, but discern what is helpful to others.  Also, I believe that kids need space to grow and mature, as do adults.  This seems to be something that many people forget.

Well, I hope you enjoy my blog. 😀

  1. Nowan Zen says:

As you venture inward towards self discovery, go without a preconceived notion of who that self may be. Let you discover yourself in whatever asylum or sanitarium you may wander into. 🙂

  2. I wrote a short piece on TED censoring people last night. My topics drift, but Sarah Silverman wants to adopt. Of course, being a comedian, her presentation took that form. Though sincere; her contribution was removed. And they invited her, they knew her style. Anyway, for that synchronicity I add you and say hey <3. It seems almost as good a reason as any =D.
